Our Mission
We recognize that God has gifted each of our staff members the ability to provide our children patients with the most gentle and compassionate dental care using the most innovative techniques and newest of materials. We also provide the most effective home care products necessary to maintain optimal dental health. It is our goal to exclude none of God’s children from receiving the compassionate care that he/she was created to receive. We specialize in caring for children’s oral health from infancy through adolescence.
Office Policies
Reserved Appointment Times
Each time that a reserved appointment is made with our office, our talented doctors and staff have dedicated that time solely to the scheduled patient. If your child arrives late or fails to show up for this reserved time, it affects many people, including other patients in need. We urge that you help us provide all of our patients with the highest level of care possible by keeping your reserved appointment times.
If you are absolutely unable to keep a reserved time for your child, we kindly request a 24-hour notice to change the appointment. Otherwise a $50 charge will apply.
Our office reserves the right to ask for a deposit prior to scheduling patients with a history of chronically missed appointments.
Late Arrivals
We understand your time is valuable. In order for us to stay punctual and see all of our patients at their reserved appointment time, we may be unable to see patients who arrive later than 10 minutes for their scheduled appointments.
Responsible Party
All children should arrive for their dental appointments with their parent or legal guardian, who should remain in our office for the duration of the child’s appointment. If this is not possible, the adult accompanying your child should have written permission from you to make treatment decisions for your child. This person will also be responsible for payment of all charges pertaining to the appointment.
Updating Patient Records
Please keep our office updated with any changes to your family’s pertinent information, including all daytime phone numbers, mailing addresses and insurance coverage information.
Parent Guidelines
You may choose whether or not to accompany your child to the treatment room for his/her appointment.
We do ask that you allow your child to accompany our staff through the dental experience. We are all highly experienced in helping children overcome anxiety. Separation anxiety is not uncommon in children, so please try not to be concerned if your child exhibits some negative behavior. This is normal and will soon diminish. Studies and experience have shown that most children over the age of 3 react more positively when permitted to experience the dental visit on their own and in an environment designed for children.
Although we sense that some children do better without parents in the room, we are open to having you with your child. If you choose to be present, we suggest the following guidelines to improve chances of a positive outcome:
- Allow us to prepare your child for treatment.
- Refrain from discussing details of the appointment with your child as much as possible. However, if you must, please be supportive of our practice’s terminology.
- Please be a silent observer. Support your child with gentle, unobtrusive touches.
- If asked to leave the treatment room, be ready to immediately walk away.
These are very important ways that you can actively help your child have a successful dental visit. We are confident that all will go well and hope these guidelines will help prepare you with confidence for the upcoming appointment.

Practice Terminology
Dear Parents:
We invite you to join us in creating the best possible dental experience for your child.
